I ordered some Magic Oven Gloves – the ones woven from Nomex and Kevlar, according to the Amazon listing. This isn’t an Amazon Marketplace item, this is an item fulfilled by Amazon itself. What I received was a Chinese made poor copy woven in cotton, which is about as heatproof as my dog’s blanket. Just a grey plastic bag as a wrapper, rather than the branded packaging pictured in the Amazon listing. It’s really dangerous – not only have the goods been described dishonestly, they’re likely to result in people being badly burned. When I posted this review saying so, they rejected it.
