How times change.

Please do Mick – it’s now under new ownership, having had a complete refit, and I’m eager to know that they’ve done good things to the place as it always deserved to be run a lot better than it was in Whitbread plc/Brewer’s Fayre days.

Adam, if you are indeed the current manager of the establishment, you will get nowhere refuting my claims as:

1. they pertain to a meal at the Nevill Crest and Gun in July 2008 when it was a Brewer’s Fayre establishment
2. there were 15-20 witnesses, all of whom were affected by the awful food and service
3. this was nothing at all to do with “fine dining”

Finally, Adam, when calling names, please ensure you’re not looking in the mirror.

I get very aggressive when people, who know nothing about fine dining, come in and have a go at what we are doing here. You are clearly lying about the state of the food as i have tasted it and it seems perfect. Consider yourself and your friends banned from this establishment and my lawyer is now going to be contacting you with regards to taking legal action against you. You are nothing but a jumped up little twerp that has nothing better to do with your time.

Unfortunately I have been invited to brother-in-laws birtday dinner tonight and have no way out! Just checked online to see if anythings changed and your blog entry has brought me out in a cold sweat especially as I now have two kids to feed … I had previously sworn never to go to one of these chains again, I hate the thought of paying for things that I can serve up better at home for half the cost.
